Avid Contracting Ltd. was founded in 1984, by Don Leng, with a strong set of core values that have been maintained over the years as the company continues to grow. Respecting our clients, employees, and vendors, as well as our commitment to exceptional quality and service, will always be the backbone of our continued success as we strive to become an industry leader.

As a family run business for over 36 years, Ryan Leng now has the privilege of carrying on the tradition and became the sole owner in 2018. Ryan is actively involved in all the daily operations of the company and his unique vision is propelling Avid to new and challenging heights.

Our highly effective management team is able to implement and utilize systems which help reduce the stress and strain of our clients. We accomplish this by keeping our clients informed and up-to-date through the use of user friendly job management software which allows our clients to monitor each active jobsite through real time daily updates, pictures, questions, and change orders. Avid understands the importance of excellent communication and we relay this message to everyone in our organization.

At Avid Contracting, the safety and well-being of our employees, subcontractors, and clients is our top priority. We are committed to providing a safe work environment and following strict safety protocols on all of our projects. We are also actively working towards achieving COR-certification by the end of April 2021.

Safety is more than just a program, it is a part of our company culture, and management plays a critical role in building a culture that encourages and promotes safe work practices. We provide our employees with invaluable training workshops and education which allows them to assess and eliminate potential hazards, prevent personal injury, and avoid property damage that leads to unnecessary costs.

Avid believes that all injuries are preventable, and it is everyone’s responsibility to promote a safe and healthy workplace. It is only through ongoing training, knowledge, and resources that we can maintain the highest level of safety standards to keep everyone healthy and safe.

Building and maintaining solid relationships with our clients is paramount and is the reason why Avid has and will continue to grow. When quoting on new projects, we strive to keep the lines of communication open throughout the entire process, allowing us to completely understand our client’s needs and offer the most competitive pricing. Once the project becomes active, our highly effective project management team takes over. Their goal is to manage the project seamlessly from beginning to end, meeting all deadlines, and keeping our clients informed using our project management software. Upon completion of the project, a final walk-through will be performed to identify any deficiencies and resolve them promptly. At Avid, we understand that client retention and loyalty is a privilege that is earned, and there is no better marketing strategy then word of mouth from our satisfied clients.

*Client feedback is imperative to our continued growth and improvement. We are committed to understanding our client’s needs and frustrations which is why we send out a client satisfaction survey at the end of each project. Our client’s feedback is analyzed and then communicated to the office and field team on a weekly basis, in an effort to adjust and improve systems and processes.
