Apprentice 1 – Performs physical labour on construction sites. You will prepare sites by cleaning, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards. You will run some types of tools & equipment (with mentoring) and will have beginner’s knowledge of job scope. You will be able to take instruction from superiors regarding which tasks are to be completed.
Apprentice 2 – Performs physical labour on construction sites. Prepare sites by cleaning, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards. Exhibit a reasonable level of confidence in the use of various types of tools & equipment and have intermediate knowledge pertaining to job scope. Must be able to take instruction from superiors regarding which tasks are to be completed but also able to complete basic tasks with little mentoring or assistance from supervisor.
Journeyperson 1 – Working under general supervision, performs the full range of duties including the demolition of any structures within our scope of work. Perform tasks confidently while leading Apprentices by example. Report to the Foreperson on progress and challenges and be responsible for updating daily progress reports on Basecamp or delegating another qualified person to do so. Must be able to run projects from start to finish with minimal assistance.
Site Foreperson – Accountable for following project plans and schedules and ensuring that crews under his/her direction perform daily and weekly activities to meet production goals. Must be a leader capable of motivating and supporting staff, manage administrative responsibilities as well as be involved in day-to-day disciplinary decisions. You will communicate directly to the Divisional Manager and/or the General Manager.
